A minor update. After a brief hiatus from the diet plan both Mrs N and myself are back onboard and have lost around 3kgs each over the last month. Evening meals now are our homegrown salad plus something like chicken, fish or lean beef for protein. No carbohydrates in the evening and eating them sparingly at lunch, breakfast is a free for all with whatever we fancy at the time.

Seems to be working and feeling really good for it.

I usually beg off of any health-related stuff in the summer, but this year I've been exercising a lot more than usual. My little town actually built a gym and I've been going regularly and running on the off days.

Diet hasn't changed too much but I'm not giving myself a hard time about eating anything at least until I get used to regular exercise. No need to make myself doubly tired.
