Tokita seeds are having an open day at their research facility in Saitama on November 14th & 15th if anyone is interested
Otone Research Farm Open Day
They have some fairly interesting varieties and over the last few years have really come on a long way, personally I'm hoping to see their range of mini tomato as we are thinking of giving them a try next year. Should be an interesting day out.

Re: Tokita Seed's Otone Research Farm Open Day
Some pictures from the open day. In addition to their normal varieties Tokita have put a lot of effort into producing European vegetables like these kales
And black cabbage (black kale)
And some very nice fennel
They've also developed some nice looking purple leafy vegetables like these purple komatsuna, mibuna and chingensai
And some of their mini tomatoes looked quite interesting
Also thinking of giving these kabocha a try next year, they are nice small size so easy to use without having to eat pumpkin for the rest of the week after you start one and apparently they store very well.
