Best Prefecture For Farming?
Re: Best Prefecture For Farming?
Ibaraki IIama. You want a good hike. Fukuhara station on Mito line to Iwama station on Joban line. I’ve camped on top of Wagakuni mountain. Great views.

Ibaraki- especially north of the Kuji river.
I can grow cherry trees interspersed by mikan.
Good soil, rain, and market access. Fields available for just keeping the weeds off it.
Dirt cheap houses. Two hours to Narita.
Good surfing, hiking, hunting, fishing, and gathering when you get bored of growing stuff. Not too hot, cold or snowy, although we do have a few days of each every year just to keep it interesting.
