Dorobachi (Potter wasps)

Post by gonbechan »

what with the weather getting warm and cold and warm and cold.. we started seeing cold drunk wasps on our upstairs balcony.

They were tottering around not that happy with themselves.

A bit of investigation and we discovered a potter wasp nest behind the shutter.

Most of the larvae had died in the nest and only a few had hatched out and collapsed on the balcony.
A stick and a broom made short work of the nest which is now gone.
