Time to get your ginger planted if you are growing it this year. It really doesn't like Temps below 10C so adjust planting times according to your area. You can also give it a head start by sprouting the roots as you would for potatoes, just make sure it won't get cold at night wherever you have it sprouting.

It's a tiny bit late (one day I'll be together enough to plant things on time ) but not catastrophically so to start planting winter cabbage and kales. You are going for savoy cabbage I'd suggest an early maturing variety so it's ready before the persephone months begin.
Autumn beans and zucchini are also good to go now and if growing your own onions from seed they need to be sown this week really. Time also to prepare beds for garlic and rakkyo as they should be planted next month. Autumn peas could probably be sown now for a crop before it gets too cold.
