I think Kyushu and the rest of western Japan have had enough heavy rain for a while! The cooler weather has been nice though.

@gonbechan I'll see what I can do ma'm. Your wish is my command . Tugs forelock and doffs cap in a suitably differential manner :D. Jokes aside and the above is entirely not serious I'll see what I can do.

I think we've all had enough of this horrible weather. We lost all of our tomatoes, salad and other leafy vegetables and now we've got downy mildew taking hold on all of the autumn cucumbers :angry-screaming:

The weatherman did a segment on the lunchtime news today and he thought it could either hang a left and go to China or carry on heading towards Korea and then there's a very small chance it could do a sharp right and plow along the south coast of Japan. He reckoned it probably wouldn't do that as there is currently a weather system there blocking it but if it does the warm air currently in that region would intensify it

Luckily at the moment he said it's very compact so won't affect a wide area. Fingers crossed either China or Korea take one for the team.

The Joint Typhoon Warning Centre has it going a bit further westwards

So, a couple weather/wave forecast sites I use show a typhoon coming our way next week. The forecast is for it to pass by the Chiba coast next Wednesday or Thursday. These sites were spot on a week in advance for the last typhoon and pretty close for a couple others before that.

I apologize if it’s wrong but it might help someone planning when to plant or harvest or put new plastic on their greenhouses.

Might be this one

Hopefully will pass well out to sea, now would not be an optimum time for a typhoon. All of our winter veg is planted out and it's too late to seed more if it got destroyed.

Zasso,
That looks like the one. Hopefully it stays far enough away from the coast to spare the farmers.

The Joint Typhoon Warning Centre has updated it's predicted track

Looks like it might be aiming for central Japan now
