Wow, that's a pretty good haul. Was that all in a single day ?

Yes just one day.
Today I am once more a detectorist widow but there are promises of diamonds in gold apparently.

Crikey, that really is a good haul for a single day's prospecting.

senor Gonbe and his hermano are still very much bitten by the bug.
Senor Gonbe has found silver, gold, platinum and diamonds.
His Bro has found silver and gold and diamonds but no platinum.

Anyway today they are off at Biwako trying some fresh water adventures and Senor Gonbe found this.
Any ideas on what it might be? My google fu is coming up short on this.

Senor Gonbe's Bro has now moved on to the Garret XMax.
He likes it very much but platinum still eludes him.

Senor Gonbe is still holding out to buy a Minelabs, specifically the EQUINOX 600 which cannot be found for love or money at the moment as it is continually sold out.

The 500 yen coin jar now holds more than 10万円, I haven't been arsed to count the 100's, 50's, 10's and 1's.
The most common found seems to be 100's, followed by 10's, 50's and then 500's.
We have found a really good way to clean gnarly coins too. We use that little plastic net bag you put in your kitchen drain trap.
Fill with coins, add a dollop of Jiff Lemon and rub the bag between rubber gloved hands for a few minutes. Rinse and repeat as needed.
