And where can we purchase this delightful concoction Eric ? I too nipped into Donquixote last night but alas was disappointed to discover they don't stock it so had to contend myself with a variety six pack of Strong Zero :(

I too went suika-less and resorted to my favorite guava juice from Donqui... which is strangely called Berry mix.

It is in every 7-11 around here. Along with a "Salty Lychee" as well...

Oh.
Looks like senor Gonbe might be taking a quick bicycle ride through the tanbo.
Salty Lychee sounds equally enticing.

Went down to 7 last night and although they didn't have the Suica Chuhi they did have this cheeky number

A time limited Pineapple chuhi that was really quite tasty and well worth the trip.

Cheeky sod!
Oh you mean the suika.
Yes there was suika, which was wonderful (thank you Eric) but no Lychee.

I have no idea what you could possibly be implying

However on the way back from a kei truck market yesterday we stopped at a 7 and what do you know....

They had the elusive Salty Suica Sour in stock. Got to say it's pretty awesome, a nice combination of flavours and the suica really comes through. A great drink to cool you down on a hot summer evening :greetings-clappingyellow:

Continuing with our 'melon' theme saw this one on the way home and just had to yield to temptation

Image

If you like melon this really captures the flavour, it is like you are drinking melon juice but without the pithy bits and seeds. I'm wondering now what happens when the Chuhi makers run out of different fruits will they move on to more and more exotic flavours or turn to vegetables next. Will we see a Durian flavour perhaps or is Japan not quite ready for that one ?

Personally I am not that much of a Lychee fan, so I haven't tried it yet. Just took a picture for you.

SO KIND!!!! lol

My go to lychee, which I have not had yet this year

I noticed there are a few new ice smoothies from other companies, including a pina colada, which I think needs to be investigated.
