Sea temp is still low so I don’t think it’ll make it too far north as a typhoon. The swell might make it though. Which means I might not get much work done next week....

Still, it seems early to be seeing typhoons. Changing weather patterns or another reminder that my memory is getting worse?

Well obviously you have my commiserations on having to miss out on work . Hope you manage to find something to occupy your time ;)

How was the surf ? Did you manage to get away from work enough to enjoy it ?

It was a big dud locally. I was too busy working to make the 2 hour drive down south to near the Kochi border where the surf is better.

On the plus side, I should have the windows in on my workshop in a day or two and be ready to think about how much of a pain it is to make your own doors. I’ve had this crazy urge to do something with as much reused and repurposed materials as possible. It’s cheap but takes so much time, effort, and alcohol it might actually end up costing more than if I’d just bought all the materials and had it up in a fraction of the time
