Was meant to be 80% down south and 20% up north but this has been reversed. The vote is 3 to 1 for more time up north than down south. As usual Im the one that was out voted. Try to go back and forth every few months but there is always something on the kids calendars that I have to attend. Luckily have had the last 6 weeks to myself and just doing DIY projects and relaxing trying to catch fish etc.

Hello Brett,

I hope your other workshops are as successful as this one. You make them look good fun and that is important.

Held another dye workshop yesterday. This time we used loquat (Biwa) leaves for the local natural dye. We used two separate fixers to bring out distinctly different colors from the same leaves. Have a look at our facebook post for a few photos! ... 5042424397
I wish I had had time to take some better ones, as it was I had time to make only one indigo dyed handkerchief for myself!
