@mylhendir, if you type the ampersand symbol and then the first couple of letters of another member's name you should get a pop up box containing members who's names start with those letters. Click on the username you want and they will get a notification when they next log in directing them to your post.

You are nearly there to being moved out of the newly registered members group and able to access the messaging system.

Welcome to JSL mylhendir.
You are at the exciting place where anything is a possibility.

For you, what is the most compelling reason you would love to live in Japan?

Bump.

I have been gone for a long time since I first posted here. I hope everybody is doing well. Life and covid threw my plans for a loop for traveling to Japan, as to be expected. I am currently looking into various ways to get there. School still seems a small possibility, but the Japanese government seems to change its policy on who and when and how people come over every 4-6 months, understandably so.

Well anyway, it is good to be back here and I will post in the moving section seeking advice again.

Arigatou!

Welcome back Mylhendir,

Covid has thrown everyone's plan into disarray this year so quite understandable you've had to delay and due to the rather lacklustre vaccine rollout here I think it's likely to drag on for quite a while yet.

Hopefully once it's under control you can get your plans back on track
