Using the old weed trimmer around the crop areas and where it's not so close I just use weed killer. You could just use weed killer provided you have one of the sprayers with that nozzle attachment and helps keep it from now spraying everywhere.
Another more expensive alternative which I probably won't do for a long while is get that black sheeting and lay that down.

Generic glyphosate seems to work well, it's cheap and easily available but for goodness sake don't get any on your 'friends' skin

Marigold's ? I'd go for a full on NBC suit but if your 'friend' feels like living life in the fast lane then maybe some rubber gloves would be just fine

When the wild boars break through the fence
Well, my friend ordered some from Amazon this morning and it worked wonders.
By this afternoon, Señor Gonbe my friend's husband had pulled out all the weeds and the back of their house is clear.

Here is the footage from the trail camera from 2 nights ago. 3 cute piglets and mama pig. Looks like they could smell something fishy or the wakiguy who set up the wire fence. Last night they didnt even show up. Hopefully they moved on. Seeing this video made me think, that maybe the first time, they broke through the fence was because one of the piglets, went through a small hole and maybe mama pig went in after him.

Sounds like your doing the same thing as what Im doing. I put that black sheeting under my fence but it isnt going so well. 50cm width sheeting suggested by experts isnt recommend by farmer.DocDoesFarming wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 9:39 amHad to google what those were, they are some funky looking birds.gonbechan wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 9:19 amYou might want a few guinea fowl for the snakes. Lately they haven't been in our area, as a result the snake population has increased.
