Ours is costing over a million to rewire the whole house, 130amps, new lighting points, new indoor and outdoor power points, 200v in kitchen etc.
So you went for the full works then!
Best start saving I guess although I doubt Iwe'll be doing that much.
I write a load of bollocks, don't take me seriously.

The beams are beautiful. Any time I see a wire stapled to a beam I think there must be a prettier way...
The fact they slapped them on and then covered the whole thing with cheap looking wooden sheets is mind boggling.

That breaker board is a work of art. Needs a frame around it.

I suggested running the wires myself and he said it’s technically REALLY NOT ok.

Good luck. Seems like the heat is easing off. That and work have really been further slowing my already delayed progress.
Cheers!

Ahh that's buggered my idea then. Kind of want to save as much as I can.
The money we have coming in isn't much for the training so can't really spend much at the moment until we start growing next year and selling.

Yeah the heat really does suck the energy out of me. Also the long working days, and lately i've been working the weekends to help out the current farm (non paid) so I've not had the time lately. That will change soon once I move onto a new farm from tomorrow, hopefully he'll less stricter than the previous one when it comes to finishing times.

Is that the same kitchen? It looks great so far!

An electrician came to look at our wiring. Said he'd never seen anything like it before. This is our state of the art "breaker board".

Don't worry it's off at the moment. Electrical stuff is definitely something we are going to out source.
Just turning on my pc would make that little beauty burst into flames hahaha.

That looks like something out of Dr Frankenstein's lab or maybe from a 1950's execution chamber

Going a bit overboard but figured it would be cheaper to do during renovation than to do it later.
